My Story
Randy Gordon’s first Live Auction event was when he filled in at the last minute for a sick auctioneer. The event was titled "Big Mac Under Glass" put on by the local McDonalds So. CA operators and although very nervous of doing this, he discovered this hidden talent to raise much needed funding from donors in the room. That sparked a fire in him to become a professional auctioneer. Now over 30 years later, he has raised over $10 million for over 450 nonprofit fundraisers in California and Utah.

His position as President/CEO of the Long Beach Area Chamber of Commerce from 1994-2020 placed him in an ideal position to assist many nonprofits in the city with their fundraisers. He also sat on numerous charity boards which gave him great insight and understanding of their mission and financial needs.

He is a member of the National Auctioneer Association and received a designation of B.A.S. (Benefit Auctioneer Specialist).

His many clients have included: Special Olympics, Ronald McDonald House Charities of So. CA, City of Hope, CA, Covenant House, Boys and Girls Club, YMCA, American Cancer League, Aquarium of the Pacific, Museum of Latin American Art, Long Beach Rescue Mission, March of Dimes, American Red Cross, Rotary Clubs of So. CA, Long Beach Symphony, Corona Life Services, Precious Lamb Preschool, Valley Christian Schools, Women's Shelter of Long Beach, Ability First of Pasadena, Long Beach Library Foundation, Long Beach State Athletics, Long Beach City College, Long Beach Memorial Medical Foundation, St. Mary's/Dignity Health, Long Beach Animals, Long Beach Restaurant Association, Long Beach Camerata Singers, McDonalds Hispanic Operators, and dozens of elementary schools and golf tournaments over So. CA.

"I love helping charities raise much needed funds from passionate supporters in the audience."
I love to dress to the theme of the event. Here I am as a "Hot Havana Nights" auctioneer.
